Friday, 30 July 2010
agencyside has finalized details for its third annual conference BOLO 2010 to be held October 17-20 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Registration has begun for this exciting conference that aims to empower small to mid-size agencies eager to become more digitally-immersed in today's competitive business climate. Pre-conference workshops are offered on Sunday, October 17 and there is an 'invitation-only' 3P track exclusively designed for Agency Partners, Principals and Presidents. The 3P Track is led by Bo Burlingham, Editor-at-Large for Inc. Magazine, Pam Slim, author of Escape the Cubicle Nation, and Bret Giles, President of agencyside.

Keynote Presenters include Ze Frank, Time contributor and frequent speaker at the TED Conference, Tim Ash, CEO of SiteTuners and author of Landing Page Optimization, Jay Baer, Founder and Social Media Strategist of Convince and Convert, and Shar VanBoskirk, Vice President/Principal Analyst, Forrester Research, Inc. BOLO also features an extensive schedule of more than 25 breakout sessions led by such industry luminaries as Jason Bagley, Director of Creative at Wieden + Kennedy, creator of the hugely popular Old Spice 'Man your Man Could Smell Like' spots.

"I'm really excited to speak at BOLO on how to create work that goes viral, including what I've learned from working on the Old Spice 'Man your man could smell like' spots," says Bagley.

BOLO 2010 aims to take on the big task at hand: explaining why digital media leads the charge in profitable, successful agencies. BOLO is designed not only for agency principals and partners but also for media, account, creative and business development leaders.

agencyside's president Bret Giles explains that "agencyside was founded with the purpose of bringing small and mid-sized advertising and PR agencies up to speed in the age of digital marketing so they can serve clients more comprehensively. BOLO is our flagship event, not only offering insights that can be quickly implemented after the conference, but outstanding opportunities for networking with colleagues and digital marketing thought-leaders from across the country."

Registration for BOLO 2010 is $799 at the website, or $599 for agencyside members. The conference will take place at the hip Hotel Valley Ho in historical downtown Scottsdale where a special rate of $139 per night is available for conference attendees.
