KWCUSA (http://www.kwcusa.net) will welcome camera crews and producers from ABC to film its singers at this years’ regional and national championships. Interest in what is the largest national singing competition in the country has grown so dramatically that the national network has taken notice and is on board to film the singers and document their stories as they advance through the competition. Wendell Payne, the president of the KWCUSA organization explains that “this gives the 15 million karaoke singers in this country an opportunity they have never had before.”

Rising San Diego-based singer-songwriter-filmmaker Suzy Skarulis will perform at the Florida Music Festival in Orlando Saturday, April 24. Nashville recording artist Christy Angeletti & her band have set their goals for the national spotlight in 2010. Christy is known as one of BMI's brightest & most successful young songwriting stars. Guided in the studio by her internationally famous vocal coach, Renee Grant Williams, Angeletti spent a year working on her original material. She wrote eleven of the songs on the "Perfectly Fine" album and co-wrote the last song. Her favorite songs from the album are Tough Enough, It's My Turn and the ever inspiring Perfectly Fine.

Cody Alan, host and executive producer of CMT RADIO LIVE WITH CODY ALAN, is the winner of the National On-Air Personality of the Year for the 45th ANNUAL ACM AWARDS, the Academy of Country Music announced today. This is the first ACM Award for Alan and CMT RADIO LIVE WITH CODY ALAN, which launched in January 2009.  "This is a remarkable and humbling honor for the CMT RADIO LIVE team," said Alan. "We've worked hard in our first year to create a fresh, entertaining show every day and we're thrilled about this recognition."
